Your new role

You will join a highly dynamic development team, supporting with your excellent skills a new and highly competitive product in the automotive industry and, on the other hand, our very successful product in the space industry. Our new product for battery cell testing is based on our product from the space domain (power test equipment for satellites). These battery cell testers are used in the various stages of assembly, integration, verification and testing of the different subsystems of battery manufacturers. Our goal is to design, configure, assemble, integrate, and test our own products to finally deliver them to our customers (battery manufacturers) and put them into operation at their premises.

With your experience in control cabinet construction, you will assemble and wire our customer-specific systems using electrical circuit diagrams. Your skills and diligence in mechanical processing of metal plates and manufacture of cables will determine the overall success of the R&D projects. Your commitment will make it possible to develop a turnkey solution for battery cell testers and satellite testing!

Your responsibilities will cover:

  • Assembly and wiring of customer-specific systems and cabinets based on
  • Position charts
  • Electrical circuit diagrams
  • Mechanical processing of metal plates and control cabinets
  • Manufacture of cables
  • Soldering breadboards and connectors
  • Creation and updating of material lists and documentation

Mandatory competences:

  • Completed training as an electronics technician, mechatronics technician or electromechanic
  • Technical understanding
  • Professional experience in cabinet construction
  • Dealing with tools and machines (crimp tools and drills)
  • Familiar with Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Good knowledge of German
  • English spoken & written

Beneficial know-how:

  • Creation/design of simple circuit boards using Layout SW
  • Handling a milling machine
  • Familiar with Microsoft Visio
  • Basic understanding of high-frequency technology
  • Basic understanding of power electronics

Professional Experience:

  • Completed training as an electronics technician, mechatronics technician or electromechanic

Soft Skills:

  • Interest and pleasure in this work
  • Ability to work in a team and flexibility
  • Independent, structured and goal-oriented way of working
  • Ability to keep order

Miscellaneous:

  • Working in AT – Vienna, very limited remote work possible (max. 10%)
  • Residents of AT, RO, CZ preferred / DE, NL, DK possible.

Based on full employment we offer you a yearly gross salary of 35.000 Euro (collectively agreed minimum salary - overpayment possible) depending on your qualification and experience.
