About the role
In your role as an IT Operations Specialist you will be responsible for IT infrastructure management, systems administration, user support. You will also be in charge of general security management, including incident management, backup and recovery management and IT documentation processes. You will take the lead in our Vendor Management and maintain its cost structure. You will provide user support in our main systems, both for key users and to an agreed extent to our employees in general. You will make sure our current system setup is kept up to the necessary level (by handling system upgrades and deployments) but that it is also improved continuously over a longer period of time.

The location can be in any of our fixed locations, which are in Vantaa, Naantali, Jyväskylä, Imatra or Oulu. Other locations can be discussed.
What we are looking for
To succeed in the role we believe you have a university level degree (e.g. M.Sc, B.Sc,, Diplomi-insinööri, insinööri) in a relevant technical area. You have several years of experience in user support, security management and IT management in general as well as a basic understanding of IT architecture. Good people skills, experience in training personnel and change management project experience is considered a great asset.
Since both our customer base and own staff are international you must excel in the English language. Language skills in the local languages of our base countries (Finnish, Swedish and German) are a considerable advantage.
