Service Sales Engineer (Robotics)

A key role in assisting the sales team, the Sales Support Specialist prepares Robotics Customer Services front-end sales proposals for Robotics & Discrete Automation in Istanbul, Turkey. In this role, your strong technical and market knowledge will assist you in providing customers with efficient and effective solutions.

Service Sales Manager

Your responsibilities

  • Driving sales volume and margin across the Robotics portfolio,
  • Establishing and maintaining strong customer, relationships through excellent service and your knowledge of customer needs and ABB solutions,
  • Preparing sales plans and bids,
  • Providing customers with products/solutions/services in line with volume, mix and profitability targets,
  • Contributing to the identification and development of new market opportunities in collaboration with the wider Service Sales team,
  • Monitoring competitor activity and ensuring appropriate response strategies are formulated and implemented,
  • Living ABB’s core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.

Your background

  • University degree in Electrical Engineering, mechatronic or related field.
  • Experience in Robotics business or industrial automation is a plus.
  • At least 2 years of experience in service sales and/or sales.
  • Excellent command of written & spoken English, and Turkish.
  • Action oriented, communicate effectively, customer and market orientation, innovative, problem solving, team work oriented.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and strong negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of SAP and SalesForce is plus.
  • Having a valid driving license & no obstacle for traveling.
