We’re looking for a Software Engineering Team Lead to join the team now!!!
About us
We deal with projects ranging from mobile Casinos to online Sportsbooks and everything in between. The software you write will process 500 online bets per second, accommodate 20 million users, and process 160 terabytes a day. You can be sure there are many more challenges waiting for you.
Your role in the team
The technologies we are using include Java, SpringBoot, Kafka, Cassandra, Postgres, Kubernetes, and AWS.
Your responsibilities will include:
Hands on management, leadership and coaching of a multi-disciplined delivery team- Acting as a mentor/coach, providing personal development and career growth, and sharing best practice and knowledge to enhance your teams skills.
- Delivering regular 1-to-1's, objectives setting, probation assessment, personal development plans, performance evaluations and succession planning
- Contributing to the recruitment of team members and continuous improvement of the recruitment process
- Providing guardrails into development practices and standards, and ensuring adherence
- Ensuring technical debt is managed effectively (avoid creating it & remove it whenever there's opportunity)
Skills needed
All of the traits of a good Java developer and be an experienced leader of people - Experience gained in Software Engineering, QA and DevOps - including good experience as a Lead Developer or equivalent- Experience in building microservice architectures
- Experience with AWS, and cloud technologies
- Experience in automated software testing through unit/functional/integration test suites
